One day, there may be more than just 2 in all of Hollywood. My appreciation for Cruise just went up a pretty good notch.

The "funny" was about this, though:
A delegation of UK stars set out their opposition to an American attack on the Middle East state last week, delivering an open letter to Downing Street.



More than 100 actors, writers, musicians and playwrights said in the letter that attacks on Iraq could be "unjustifiable" and have "potentially horrific ramifications.”

“It would open a Pandora's box which may be impossible to close," the letter added.





A Pandora’s Box, like -- Peace in the Middle East...?

Not many seem to realize what the price for peace really is. It’s not turning away and hoping the bad guys leave you alone, or, better, just go away. Because the discord is caused by humans, peace can therefore only be achieved through a violent change in those same humans. Whether that change is sudden, or is a long, drawn-out, bloody battle to the death is irrelevant. It will remain violent -- and that is what the Middle East requires.

We can clean it up now, or just let it fester and quietly listen to the daily reports for the region.

Politicians from around the world require a solution, and they require that the U.S. lead that solution (ever leading). The best solution is a selective pesticide.
