There are two certitudes -

1 - Liberals will speak with many voices, many points of view, with several core issues. A respect for people and a respect for the environment.

2 - Conservatives parrot Rush. "Dittoheads" isn't supposed to mean "think alike", but does. (Rush - "Just listen to me. You need no other source if you get your news from journalism.") The core issues to conservatives are money, money and more money. People be damned.

Calling a liberal a "parrot". That's like calling GWB "honest", or "brave", or "courageous".

That's like calling Cheney "reputable", or "having integrity".

"Parrot". Just doesn't fit liberals. But who would even say something so ridiculous? What would you think about the grasp on reality of that person? Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
