Parrot: one who repeats something endlessly without bothering to run it through the front end of their brain first.

There are certainly thoughtful and intelligent liberals out there, commenting on the current situation. A lot of them on this board. But from others I keep hearing the same crap over and over, including many things that have either been disproven, make no logical sense, or are totally inconsistent with something else they've been saying. These are the parrots, and this guy was one of them.

As for respect for people, that's a laugh. Parrots respect for people who toe the liberal line, maybe. Nobody else. Maybe we should list those anti-Bush websites again? Or Maureen Dowd's vile little columns?

As for conservatives and money, that little red herring isn't going to work much longer. Eventually people are going to realize that while leftists are pointing and screeching at Greed and the Almighty Dollar, they are busy accumulating the absolute political power that they covet much more than any amount of money.

Incidentally, as an exercise for the student: make a list of all the hugely rich people you can think of. Surprisingly few are Republicans. Barbra Streisand sure ain't missing any meals.
