Gotta disagree
Torch was losing. He knew it and so did the DNC. Rather than comply with existing law, they're trying to find a way to circumvent it. For whatever reason, the law was written and enacted by the New Jersey legislature and signed by the governor. That law is what governs this election. If there's a problem, then it can be addressed after the election. Changing the law in the middle of the election cycle just because you're losing isn't kosher.
The situation is comparable to those who broke the campaign finance laws back in 1996 and used that as a justification for new laws.
