One thing I will give Saddam credit for.
I just found out a couple of days ago that Tarik Aziz is a Roman Catholic. What other Arab country would have a non Muslim as the second in charge? Saddam has had a very long history of fighting (and slaughtering) Muslim extremists, maybe we should mend fences with him and set him loose on the radicals in the region. I have a feeling that the Twin Towers would still be standing today if we had let him bend the Saudis over and have his way with them back in 1990. If kept on a short leash, I'm sure we could control him.
