Wait that is too extreme.
Seriously, it is the classic problem: how to defend freedom from those dedicated to destroying it while still preserving freedom.
The best thing I can think of is to shut down the extremists.
Freedom and civil society cannot be seen as universal unconditional franchises to be excercised under all conditions.
That in a way would be like anarchy which always seems to degenerate unfortunately into a kind of mafia/kleptocracy.
Why can't it be easy?
