At least you have the grace to say so. Not many others have.

If a Republican had pulled a stunt like this, the media and others would have flayed him alive and dragged him across the Utah salt flats behind a team of wild horses.

Anybody see this story much on the mainstream news?

Anybody remember the famous "RAT" ad from the Bush campaign? That was rehashed so often that half the TV sets in my house still have the word "RAT" burned into the picture tube.

And note the response from a (presumably liberal) gay organization:

Karl Olson, executive director of PRIDE, a Helena gay rights organization, said he believes the ad was an attempt to suggest Taylor is gay. He said he was bothered more by Taylor's reaction.



"To me, what's more of a problem is that an adult, an intelligent person, is going to flee from that and not just stand up and say, 'You know, OK, so I looked like a gay hairdresser. What's wrong with looking like a gay hairdresser? Let's get on with the campaign,' " he said.



So it's Taylor's fault for being a bad sport? Had a Republican fired this ad at a Democrat, how many of you think that Olson would have responded this same way?

Democrats can do any damn thing they want, because NOTHING is more important to the media and their supporters than seeing that they win.
