However, politics is a blood-sport. Knife fights don't go by the Marcus of Queensbury rules. If you "play nice", you're going to get gutted. The Democrats are repeatedly showing that the law is not going to stand in their way to winning elections. Once back in power, the laws can be changed to do whatever they want.
