Has Europe sold it's soul?

Maybe it IS about oil. Looks like lotsa oil deals between Germany et. al. and Iraq are in jeapordy when Bush topples the regiem. Not like it's a historical first or anything for a Europower to sell its soul to a dictator. Or the US either, in the Cold War.
