An Islamist terrorist organization called Jemaah Islamiyah, closely linked to Al Queda and dedicated to the violent creation of an Islamic state in Indonesia, is strongly suspected in the bombings.
The Indonesian government has been hesitant to crack down on these savages, but now I don’t think they’ll have any choice. They should commit themselves to hunt down and wipe out these beasts, and the US should increase military aid and cooperation with Indonesia to help make it happen.
