Bush sees al-Qaida link in Bali attack

<In order to stir up public opinion Bush HAS to see al-Qaeda involved in everything. Here’s hoping there is no major earthquake, or before someone with a brain tells him, GWB will be blaming OBL.

Now, OBL has how much money? I’ve seen reports ranging from $30 million to the US gov’t claiming $300 million.

And how much has Bush spent “fighting” OBL? How much finding him?

Who is still loose? At least GWB & Co. don’t seem to know where he is.

And al-Qaeda has a GNP of what? Anything close to the US, even without Britain? How many planes, aircraft carriers, troops, nuclear weapons, tanks, how much artillery?

Even after the US has spent all that money, killing unknown thousands of innocent people along with the occasional combatant, the rather puny al-Qaeda is still, apparently, operative.

Even though the US has an enormous army, enormous air force, and enormous navy with aircraft carriers, nuclear subs, and so on.

And that’s not counting the budget of the NSA, CIA, and so on.

And the anthrax killer is still at large. (That was a test run by the gov’t which went awry. They’ll never find that person(s). Look at it realistically – by now everyone on earth who had access to anthrax and could “weaponize” it could have had 10 FBI agents living with them for the last year.)

Time for a new coach? In sports, when one team has players 1,000,000 times stronger than the other, a payroll with no caps and an unlimited budget, can read the other guys signals, and can’t beat a team with a ragtag bunch of people and no payroll, it would be time for a new coach.

“Oh, the job is so difficult”, you say. “It’s hard. They don’t stay in one place. Move around. Shift. Really tough.”

Ain’t that awful. You expect them to stand still? Tell that to Bill Cowher or Steve Mariucci (professional football coaches, for you badmitten addicts.)

New coach. This guy is demonstrably one thing, and one thing only.

A loser. (Didn’t even “win” the election, had to be appointed and anointed.)

The only thing worse is his assistants. Rice – “I didn’t think the warnings warranted further investigation.” And that’s the National Security Advisor, bigawd. Didn’t think warnings of 9-11 warranted checking out.

Heh, heh.

Arf (but they sure know how to breed hate and intolerance, I'll say that!)
