Not that non-Canadian readers will be interested, but the Gustafson Lake BC incident involved the Canadian Military more recently that Oka...

I'm not sure why it is so wrong for the assets of the military to be used occasionally in upholding the law of the land. Seems like a waste not to use the resources available.
