Pretty Please!!
Two basic thoughts. First, watch out for anyone who suggests any criticism of Israels' foreign policy is "anti-Semitism". A sovereign country, even one with a state religion, has standards to which it should comply. One of those is equal treatment of its own citizens.
It's as mistaken as can be to regard the actions of the State to be the actions of the religion, and to call criticism of State policy and actions to be slurs against the religion.
After that starts to happen, you know that whatever issue is on the table won't be treated fairly from that point on.
Second, Israelis as a class are as hardworking as anyone. The dedication to academic pursuits is delightful. Great people who could make it anywhere.
AND, Israel as a nation has had billions upon billions upon billions of dollars pumped into it. Billions.
I would suspect that the remainder of Palestine could be turned into a putting green with all the money that's been poured into Israel.
And, with Israelis occupation, the Palestinians don't have a chance. Even without the random artillery shells lobbed into them.
