It ain't easy, I know. They're down quite a ways on the ladder from WorldCom and it's pretty much a dog-eat-dog environment down there -- but WorldCom was right beside them seven years ago, back before they sucked half of CompuServe and all of me into them.

It a marathon, there is, on occasion, a winner, and it's often the runner out front who hits that ribbon. The others will just have to try harder to be second. If they want to be up here, they’ll need to play a little smarter than just publicly whining to politicians.

And we don’t exactly have a “‘Get out of Debt Free’ card.” We have the customer-base to carry on, and we have the financial, hardware, and global-properties backing to dig our way out -- and so we shall.

When Chapter 11 hit (canceling company-subsidized funding), they stopped the subsidized coffee -- again. It's been back for a couple months now, and I think that's a pretty good sign.
