No, actually Clinton (like Reagan) was only a front man for the CIA.
You might REALLY enjoy this book called "COMPROMISED, Clinton, Bush and the CIA", a best seller by Terry Reed and John Cummings, 1995. It's about the confluence of Iran-Contra and Whitewater.

You see, the CIA since it was created at the end of WW II, (incorporating the best of western intelligence OSS and German intelligence SS......so they wouldn't end up in the Russians' hands),
has been idealogically entertwined to the hard right. That of world dominance through military might and economic subservience. Not a bad idea unless you're a bleeding heart liberal.
They take their power wherever they can, and although it's touted as an organization there to serve US, it's actually a radical group of insiders who re-write the laws as it suits them, covers up anything illegal by hiring and using ANYONE who can manage their dirty deeds for them, and proceeds to grow in power internationally year after year.
To see the inner working of this group, that is ABOVE THE LAW, please read Linda Hunt's best seeling book "SECRET AGENDA The United States Government, Nazi Scientists and Operation Paperclip", St. Martin's Press 1991 ISBN# 0-312-05510-2
Should be required reading for every American.
Then come talk to me.

No, I see the politics and government of this country in a much different light than you do.
And I'm wary of all the convenient little throw backs that happen.
And I'm not paranoid either, just a little more aware than the average CNN/FOX pablum fed sheeple.
Have a nice day.
