Well, let me put it to you this way: A German exchange student visiting with us got a little short with her for taking longer than he thought she should learning the rules of a card game he was teaching us. (She was 75.) She looked him right in the eye, or as close as a 5'2" woman can get to the eye of a 6'1" young man, and said, "Well, Sieg heil to you too!" He was utterly shocked, and extremely respectful for the remainder of our stay.
Mom doesn't mince words.
