<U.S., Britain turn up heat on U.N.
“THE THREE OTHER veto-wielding members of the Security Council — France, Russia and China — are leery of what they view as an license to wage war.
“Instead, they want any new U.N. resolution to give Iraq a chance to cooperate with U.N. weapons inspectors.
“If Baghdad fails to comply, they want the Security Council to meet and only then consider military action in a second document.”
