Supporting the United States is not dependent on which party is in the Oval Office. If Gore was President, and supporting taking out Saddam, I'd still be in that corner. If you don't think there's a chance in hell Gore would be doing anything like that, well, there's the political issue, isn't it?
Of course I believe that the nation will be better off with Republicans instead of Democrats in both Congress and the White House. I'm sure a lot of people feel differently. That doesn't make them traitors, but it doesn't make them right either. We did all right with Republicans just controlling Congress for most of the Clinton administration, but we could have done a lot better.
