I think you're wrong on this one, on both counts.

Skillfully done with the right technology, such deceit might be very difficult to detect.

What is more, can we be sure that anyone in a position to analyze this tape with the best equipment would be honest and forthcoming in releasing the results of their inquiry?

As I note elsewhere in this thread, a living OBL makes life so much easier for those trying to escalate this so-called "War on Terror."
