Maybe you missed this. Our press, you know, gives scant coverage to stories like this. And before you dismiss it, try to consider what would be the motivation for OBL to deny the attack if he, in fact, is responsible.
True, maybe he was just lying. But again, if he's trying to rally the alleged al Qaeda cells all around the world, that would seem a peculiar way to go about it.
Nevertheless, there are no doubt many among the ranks of terrorists who were thrilled by 911, and who would scramble to use this tragedy to their advantage, so we need to keep that in mind as well.
As for the perpetrators of Black Tuesday, I readily confess I don't know.
I do know there are too many holes in the official story for me to accept it at face value, and I also know that one way to the truth - sometimes the only way - is to identify, attack, and eliminate the lies.
Some think the Mossad is behind 911 in the form of a classic false flag operation, but I have a hard time believing they could shut down our air defence system without the complicity of key insiders in the defense establishment. Not that this is outside the realm of possibility, of course.
The Mossad has a record of blowing up buildings and trying to blame it on Arabs. Read about the Lavon Affair, for starters.
And then too, what is one to make of those dancing, celebrating Israelis who were latter apprehended with all of their happy snapshots of the ruined towers? And what about the other Israelis arrested in the van with the traces of explosives? And the case of the Israeli art students scoping out various U.S. buildings, individuals, organizations, and other assets? There's more, but you get the idea.
On another tack, military authorities were well aware of the threat posed by hijacked commercial aircraft, and they were well aware that the Pentagon would be a primary target of such planes.
I refuse to believe that the Pentagon could not defend itself, but it is true that the Pentagon did not defend itself.
It's hardly a pretty picture, but that's where I'll leave it for now.
