I suspect Saddam has a "right" to fission warheads as much as does Israel, North Korea, Iraq, South Africa, or whoever. However, he signed it away.

So, can you see a difference between assuring the world he doesn't have WMD through inspections, and only-moderately-discriminate bombing (spare us the "smart" stuff) and invading the country?
