Worldcom announced 500 more layoffs in Colorado Springs yesterday
This is added to the 1300 they've laid off in the past couple years.
The high tech industry is bleeding locally with 7650 jobs being cut in the last two years. Add the new Worldcom cuts with 150 more at another local company this week and the total will soon top 8300. Grim.
