During these uncertain times, there are numerous debates about international policies and also internal shifts (like more conservatism). Leilah Shahid is the PLO representative in France. In her youth, she knew 2 jewish girls in London. One would alsways sing the Israeli national anthem whenever Leilah came; the other was far more friendly and concerned about having to join the army once she'd turn 18. This tought Leilah the multi facets of the Israeli society.
I saw her last saturday on TV, debating with a french jewish film maker, Elie Chouraki.
Both the jews an the arabs want Jerusalem back. It 's going to happen one day.
