Are they starting from scratch?

Are they making all of Kofi's toilets in solid gold so they can match his buddy Saddam's?

After all the grief they give us, they expect us to fork over that sort of dough interest free?

Will the US taxpayers get to vote on that decision?

This project reeks of huge numbers of UN people pocketing huge sums for shuffling papers "giving estimates" and sending them from contractor to the post office.

Once the UN became modeled after global socialism instead of the League of Nations, it's been downhill ever since.

Besides, 1952 architecture is now fully classic and retro. In Palm Springs it's all the rage...and some "artistic" designers will charge you 100 grand to redecorate your pad so it looks like 1952, with authentic spindly leg furniture, big heavy cabinet TV's and all!

I say give them a million or two and let them slap a coat of paint over everything and let them repave the parking lot. Let some hungry third world painters fly on over - they need the work - and I assure you they will do a great job for very little bucks. Either that or call upon the children of the world to come and tell them they are painting single color wall murals.
