Under the influence....

Oooooh! The HZ has gone down to rhetorical level! I am probably the only one who's going to stand up for Lott here today...which'll likely further boost my "ultra-conservative" credentials.

Tom and I disagree on LOTS of stuff. Jeez...he is a Libertarian.

(Squirms uncomfortably at the thought of free drugs, chaos and anticonformists turning all the major cities into cesspools of inequity)

As a matter of fact on the drug issue I know Ed, Phil and Tom are in opposition to my harsh stance.

There I fall in line with my dear brother Bowser's austere sentiments.

Everyone knows I am non-religious and worship at the shrine of science and the simple sinusoidal wave form.

Here the atheist Raoul and I can see eye to eye - though he believes his consciousness and it's accumulated wave form intelligence will simply dissipate like dust in the wind.

Fox and I are both television-free (thank goodness) and like to scribble now and then and so here we can see eye-to-eye.

You and I can see eye-to-eye on being open-minded to certain new ideas, yet the political views we hold are like matter and antimatter.

Note to self: Where the heck is Marcia?

Mary Anne and I could agree that public crosses should not be allowed to stand after the supreme court has told them to take them down. Of course that does not mean we see eye-to-eye on spiritual matters - likely far from it.

My feedback and mirror principles are likely to go over as big as broken glass in your food with most everyone here, though Richard Gere and a few Buddhists and Taoists would probably agree with some or all of it.

Larry J is agnostic, and although conservative, certainly can't qualify for the moral majority with that baggage, either. We both like the B-58 Hustler quite a bit, would know our way around an airfield and I am sure we both voted for Bush.

Many here are not nearly as conservative as you believe. In fact, I don't really think this a conservative board at all!

Frank is a moderate, as is Dan (whom we all hope will be able to rejoin us), and are not die-hard conservatives at all.

Phil...with that bunny rabbit - an ultra-conservative! Surely you jest ;-)
There are NO ultra-conservatives in Boston.

Tony is English...so that strikes him from the Arch-conservative banner. He probably hates Margaret Thatcher too!

Alcaray, Robert, Tom, Delbert, GBaikie and myself are all California-familiars, I am a native, GBaikie and Delbert may be too..I think I recall something from former posts.

RobVG is by no means a conservative - he chastised me about my modifications to my low flush toilets. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, (like Bowser and Don)- and he likes rain too! (Arrgh! I just washed the car!)

I could go on and on...but clearly this board has diversity even among those who consider themselves liberals!

Look at the Mark-E.P.-Cowing-DiGregorio-Don pentagon.

All likely voted for Gore, yet all hate each other's space views with a passion that burns only a few degrees shy of the temperature of the surface of the sun.

The Texas Robert (REB) is a conservative (aren't almost all Texans?) but is not arch-conservative by any means.

Scott surprises me...he could be an ultraconservative, but he has got to be an exceedingly rare critter, probably an endangered species, that far north.

SM, is definitely not a conservative - are any Canadians conservative ;-) - and needs to take a ride in 69 300 Convertible Hemi while it's seeking to obtain rubber-to-asphalt traction - that would likely cure him of the enviro-car blues.

Nick, he is Australian. It's hard to be conservative in Australia...too wild ya know! Anyone who can theorize carbon dioxide over water on Mars is not a conservative!

Yes, the HZ gang is the model of diversity - and don't you try and tell me otherwise!

It's a veritable "Cheers" sans alcohol.

Now let's all quit with the name-calling...or you'll hurt my delicate feelings...and let's get down to business...of having REAL FUN...shall we?

Finding this a strange form of REAL FUN,

;-)

Surely in the future I will get a chance to include you into one of these type of "inclusive" posts...)
