Pecking an injured member of their flock to death.

And I read one columnist who pointed out that the Rs are much quicker to dump an injured colleague than are Ds. I would agree, as some wounded Ds hung around a long, long time. Wish I'd have saved the citation.

Arf (By the way, "screwing the pooch" ain't funny in some tail-chasing circles.)
