I figure Osama bin Laden's stone cold dead. If he were alive, he'd be popping up constantly, everywhere, to taunt us, like the star of one of those "Whack-the-Prairie-Dog" games.
If he's dead, I also don't figure his remaining cohorts would settle for faking an ambiguous "sighting" every once in a long while. If they could fake tapes like this, they'd do it often enough to reinforce a strong suspicion that ObL's alive; or they wouldn't try it at all.
So who's the remaining logical culprit behind a fake? Do I really have to spell it out for anybody? Who benefits?
