I read your post nearer the top of the page, so I know your blood pressure is in high dudgeon over Lott, so I'll cut you a little slack. But I want you to know that your subject line was offensive.

Funny thing is, when I posed the question "Who benefits?", I wasn't thinking of the Israelis. But I had to acknowledge that Gary's logic was strong, perhaps even stronger than the automatic assumption that our government did it as part of their incessant campaign to keep the American people fearful and inclined to go along with whatever the Bush Regime wants to do. "Stirring the pot", as Gary described his theory about the Israelis, is just as plausible.
