Look at the numbers from that site (graphs without scales are pretty useless...):

Trial Lawyers 2002 : 2.6 miilion bucks, 87% of which went to dems
Tobacco 2002 : 7 million bucks, 79% of which went to Republicans.

Now, whom is REALLY beholden to whom?
