Losing 2,000 people, mostly due to your own senseless terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians?

How about losing 6,000,000 of your people, fully 1/3 of your entire population, in a systematic campaign of state genocide? Would that qualify as 'enormous losses'? And don't you understand how that experience could make people a bit jumpy, if not downright paranoid, about their security, especially when Arabs make statements about 'finishing the job that Hitler started'? (that was a rallying cry prior to the 67 war) And how about when 100,000 Arabs march in the streets of Algiers in 1990 chanting 'Saddam, gas the Jews!'

No Arab country, and certainly not the Palestinians, have suffered anything even remotely approaching the 'enormous losses' the Jews incurred in the 20th century.
