One problem I have here is that it's easy to make half-assed accusations without any backup, but it takes work to show the facts that refute it.
I posted some weeks back--and frankly I don't want to go the the trouble of digging it up--the documentation that I found which showed the U.S. provided Iraq (and other nations) with inactive biological materials and other inert materials that could be used for defensive biowar research, but were not usable for developing weaponry.
Typical pattern: fuzzy accusation--documented response--wait a while for things to cool down--make exact same fuzzy accusation again.
Longtime readers will note that I have had to make the same responses to the same assertions several times. One would think at some point either I would get an original retort which is based on the response, or an admission that maybe I'm right (that'll be the day). But no, same original assertions keep popping up, often using the exact same phrasing. Parrot stuff.
I have taken to bookmarking some of my responsive posts for this reason, so I can just repost them. A lot less work. Unfortunately, my documentation of the biologicals wasn't one of them.
