From the Jerusalem Post:

US President George W. Bush's administration is set to attach to financial guarantees it gives the government a demand that funds would not be used for any of its operations in Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Gaza, Israel Radio reported.



Israels receives financial guarantees of some 8 billion dollars a year from the US, the report said.

An Israeli delegation is set to visit Washington D.C. next week for talks with administration officials on this matter, the report added.



This is news to me, and if true, it's a good idea. It's about damn time we started using our aid to Israel to get them off the dime on this issue.
