Trends.
Because what is happening generates money, bucks, do you see anything reversing the trends of which they speak?
Forget the timetable, look at the trends - animal extinction, destruction of habitat, global warming, population growth, etc. Anything reversing them?
Now, there could be more efficient food production, which would stave off starvation. I'll grant that.
And, the population will just grow past that, too. And more people also heat, cook, and in general consume more - more firewood, more oil, more water, more oxygen.
And pollute more.
Do you seen anything reversing these trends, as long as there is a buck to be made?
