I find that most of the statistics in these sites wouldn't pass muster under close scrutiny and yes, the "maybe" and "probably" factor jumps off the scale.
Environmental science and sites that deal with global warming are mostly a lot of W.A.G.s.* This is fine, since most science is based upon little knowledge, however often it is presented as absolute facts.
The Guardian has a clear agenda and these pieces are filler and "fit" the anti-business, anti-US agenda they pursue.
But you know that. Preaching to the choir that's all.
