<Besides which, the answer to question 2 is: b) Republicans. No wartime president has yet to lose an election, regardless of the course of the war. (Kennedy was killed, LBJ chose not to run - subsequent wars have not lasted through an election)

You can look me in the digital eye and tell me you honestly think if the war in Iraq goes totally sour that it will enhance Bush's reelection prospects??



Do you remember WHY Johnson chose not to run? Why a sitting President was being clobbered in the goddam PRIMARIES?
