Your first point is arguable, but there's no credible evidence that a majority of the Iraqis want Saddam out, and even if they did, the fact remains that we do not have the right to oust the dictator. Everyone calling for this kind of pre-emptive, essentially unilateral strike against a sovereign nation always fails to consider that a bad precedent is being set, and that someday, the tables may be turned.

It's not our right, and some bad day down the road, another nation may point to this moment in history and use it to justify their own imperial ambitions, using whatever pretext seems convenient and plausible at the moment.

Might does not make right, but even that simple lesson of history does not register on those who support aggression.
