Perhaps I misread what point you were making with Chairman Mao's quote. Perhaps I just got tired of you denigrating the "unwashed masses". I'll stand sid by side with working people any day, and in my past lives I'll bet I was at the heads of movements, organizing and speaking out.
Maybe not as bad as Emma Goldman or Alice Paul, but you get my drift. (And I'll bet Mary Anne has stood up for others rights as well, both in this life and past lives...if there is such a thing.)We are ALL creatures of this planet and we all deserve our place. Pople who grow up financially secure and have never known fear, the type of fear that comes from being responsible to only themselves, lack empathy and understanding for the masses, the COMMON people. And their casual ideas about the reality of life, unless coupled with compassion; usually come out arrogant and callous. YOU come across like this many times SDAI.
