"Unilateral:" Not quite.
While much is being made of France and Germany's opposition to our Iraq policy, the support (in varying amounts) that we are getting from other nations is naturally, soft-pedalled in the media.

This morning's New York Times had the headline "Rebuffing NATO Allies, U.S. Pushes Demand That Iraq Disarm." This was changed without fanfare in the late edition to the more accurate: "Rebuffing 2 Allies, U.S. Pushes Demand That Iraq Disarm."
