Many people are wondering exactly what's going on with administration policy on North Korea. The answer is that furious diplomatic work is going on behind the scenes. The elephant in the living room in this case is China. We can't do anything about North Korea unless we're pretty damn sure that China, even if it doesn't approve, at least keeps out of it.
