To wit: I'll be in favor of gun ownership if you can guarantee me that no gun will ever be used by a cold-blooded criminal against my son, wife, or Parents, co-workers, neighbors, or total stangers in Los Angeles, New York, or Tel Aviv.
OK, so Tel Aviv is out of our jurisdiction.
Asking for absolute guarantees for anything is silly. Have you considered that war is more likely to incite the use of WMDs? I mean, what will he have to lose?
You want an absolute guarantee of something? OK, here's the only one there is: someday we will all be dead.
