The stock market will probably surge for a month or two after the Iraq thing is started. The added liquidity and consumer confidence might(?) be what it takes to restart the economy. However if we are truely in deflation then the resurgence of the stock market won't last. Also if our military makes a mess of it in Iraq then things will go down the pooper fast.
We live in interesting times.....
