It's going to hit the filibuster wall in the Senate. As they slowly go down the foreign policy toilet, the Democrats have to seize on this as a last stand. All their usual weapons are in place, including a long line of elderly standing in the wings to be hauled out to Daschle's podium and threatened with starvation if I get to keep more of my own money.

Heck, considering the number of Senate Republicans getting skittish about it, it may not even need a filibuster. I personally am hoping for this to go through, of course. Every nickel in the private sector instead of Ted Kennedy's pocket is a plus for the economy.

Even if it passes, the Democrats are going to make a lot of class warfare hay out of it in the process.
