Not sure we could get M1A1's there in 48 hours, but the JADAMS, JSOWS, Radar controlled counterbattery fire, Smart Artillery rounds and the like would pretty much wipe out anything immediately north of the DMZ in about 24 hours. Probably looking at single-day casualty figures on the US side not seen since Normandy. And N Korea will be looking at 100k dead. Will be terrible.

Lets just hope we can bribe china into sitting quietly by, or this could get reeeel ugly reeel fast. A frind of mine that was Army and did a lot of combat analysis and tactics summed up a war with china with this Army Saying:

In the day hour of war with China, 1 million chinese soldiers have surrendered and 1 million have been killed. In the next day, 2 million chinese have surrendered and 2 million have been killed. On the third day, America surrenders.
