I seriously doubt that Bush sr will have any dicernable seperation from GW's position when and if the first shot is fired.

Not to make a big deal of it but this appears to be sort of a cut and paste job by the Times. It draws on recent Bush sr's general comments on international unity and then offers conclusions that don't really hold water.

The use of hyperbole like "ominous warning" is silly and the example of Bush sr's public treatment of Jordan in 91 implies without basis that GWB has had no such private conversations with detractors this time around.

The most accurate thing in the piece is that they talk frequently. I would like to hear Bush sr's opinion on this EDITORIAL.
