If Bush Sr. had taken "unilateral action," defied the U.N., and taken Saddam out, we wouldn't be here.
And I confess I find the current Arab-Israeli "flowering of hope" to be less than impressive. Does anyone really think Arab relations would be that much worse today if Bush Sr. had exceeded his agreed-upon U.N. authority and finished the job?
