Democratic Congressman blames Jews for war with Iraq

James Moran, D-Va., said at a speech,
"If it were not for the strong support of the Jewish community for this war with Iraq we would not be doing this."
"The leaders of the Jewish community are influential enough that they could change the direction of where this is going and I think they should."
This inflammatory remark made little or no news, and the apology seems to have settled it. Unlike Trent Lott, who did not have access to the standard Democrat "Get Your Ass Out Of A Crack Free" card that has already saved Patty Murray and Marcy Kaptur from their own big mouths.
