The poor saps thought that by threatening the economy they could budge Chavez. Unfortunately, what they didn't remember is that to a socialist, being in power is what counts, and if you are in power it doesn't matter if your citizens are eating grass, or if a third of them are smoking skulls. If the history of totalitarian socialism hasn't proven this by now, people aren't paying attention.

So now Chavez can begin the inevitable nationalizations, and the devouring of Venezuala. And who cares, right?

Geez, Bush was elected too. So I guess everyone had better just shut up about the Patriot Act.
