Yes, mr De Stexhe (a senator) said that this latest claim rings the end of the law of universal competence as it was clearly linked to political events, which the law claims not to be.
If there's a crisis in the EU, we all get together, talk about it and try to resolve the differences. It has happened before, countless of times.
