With all the talk of "Unjust" vs. "Just" war, its a play on the very liberal idea of "Liberation theology" that used to teach, for example, that the leftist rebels(Sandanista and Communist backed) in El Salvador were fighting a "just" or "liberating" war.
Many of the same groups (within the catholic church, the Democratic party, etc...) who are against this war were for that one...
Ditto the conflict in Northern Ireland...
The point is, there is a school of thought out there that believes that a war IS "Just" if it is fought from the "liberation theology" perspective.

P.S. Its one of those enevitable word games that the diplomats and psyche ops guys are so fond of playing...Kind of like calling Sadam "So-damn Insane" because it means something bad in Arabic AND in English...or Suicide bombers "Homicide Bombers" to remind the uninformed masses that Hammas sounds a lot like Homicide...
Its part of war. Winning hearts & Minds. Etc...

there is a reason why "Liberation" is a term that is being thrown around...
