I'm surprised the liberals on this board haven't instantly sunk their teeth into "The Bush Doctrine" story being floated around on the public channels.

PBS had an in-depth documentary on it last night and today on C-span they covered it well in the Veterans Against War Forum.

It basically say's that Paul Wolfowitz, immediately following the cease fire with Iraq (Gulf 1) came up with the idea of pre-emptive strikes against our enemies and he's been honing it ever since.

According to the common perception of the doctrine, this war is not about WMD and terrorists, It's not just about deposing a ruthless dictator, Rather it’s the fight between good and what Bush and his admin consider evil in this world.

They say Iraq is just the first step.

They also make it easy to assume that this war was planned before 911.

Rob ( Hoping they find mountains of WMD over there, a Nuke or two would be nice )
